Access to proper services is vital to reducing the incidence and severity of behavioral health disorders. The Mental Health Liaison Group (MHLG) advocates that it is therefore imperative that parity is maintained through the private insurance market and Medicaid program to keep behavioral health treatment at the same priority level as other medical care.
